Garden Agriculture Program

Program's Objective

The Garden Agriculture Program aims to train qualified technical personnel needed by the sector, specialized in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants, proficient in modern agricultural techniques, and capable of applying sustainable and efficient production methods. Within the scope of the program, students are taught topics such as plant production techniques, soil management, pest and disease control, greenhouse and open field farming practices both theoretically and practically.

Students gain the competence to manage agricultural production processes, use techniques to increase efficiency, and act with an awareness of conserving natural resources. Additionally, it is aimed for them to adopt environmentally friendly production methods in the sector by having knowledge about organic farming and good agricultural practices.
