MAKÜ Application Garden Sale Planting Event

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Green Collars Community held a sale planting event in the garden of the Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Vocational School on October 7, 2026. The Burdur Youth Center also contributed as a stakeholder to the event.

During the event, Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel, the Director of MAKÜ Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Vocational School, provided participants with information about the sale plant. The aim was to increase participants' awareness of the plant through information on the characteristics of the sale plant, its cultivation, and its importance in agricultural production.

In the event where theoretical knowledge was combined with practice, sale planting was carried out, allowing students to experience agricultural production processes on-site. The event aimed to raise awareness of nature and plant cultivation and also contributed to the development of cooperation between university students and the Burdur Youth Center.

MAKÜ Green Collars Community continues its work with events that raise environmental awareness, support sustainable agriculture, and provide students with practical experience.
