Our Vocational School Plant Protection Program 2nd Year students visited Antalya province on 06/12/2019 as part of a technical trip. As part of the trip, they first received information about the soilless lettuce cultivation experiments conducted at the Mediterranean Fisheries Research Production and Training Institute Directorate (AKSAM) unit from those responsible.

In the continuation of the trip, a visit was made to the Western Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute Directorate (BATEM). They toured the citrus gardens located in BATEM's garden, which have been in production since 1934. The team, who moved to the Aksu district to visit the Vegetable and Ornamental Plants Department affiliated with the Directorate, toured the production greenhouses in the unit and received technical information, then moved to the Fruit Growing unit. After receiving information from the production officials about the activities carried out in the greenhouses and open areas of the Fruit Growing unit, they completed the technical trip.
