An informative training on "Organ and Tissue Donation" was organized for our students.
The training program, held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 14:00, was conducted under the coordination of Burdur Provincial Health Directorate. The training was given by Burdur State Hospital Organ and Tissue Transplant Coordinators Fidan Atlı, Aysel Karaçam, and Serpil Candan Sehar.
Within the scope of the program, comprehensive information was shared on the importance of organ and tissue donation, the donation process, the concept of brain death, and increasing societal awareness about organ donation. In the training, which attracted great interest from our students, questions of curiosity were also answered by experts.
With this meaningful event held in our unit, it is aimed to increase the awareness level of our students about organ and tissue donation.
