Preparations for MEDEK Accreditation are Ongoing in the GTHMYO Culinary Program

Burdur Food Agriculture and Livestock Vocational School (GTHMYO) conducted an evaluation meeting within the scope of quality assurance systems and accreditation studies for the Culinary Program, which continues its educational activities.
In the meeting held with the participation of GTHMYO Management and faculty members of the Culinary Program, the application process of the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (MEDEK) and the preparations for the self-assessment report were discussed. The concrete steps taken so far in the MEDEK accreditation process, which aims to certify the educational quality of the Culinary Program within the framework of national and international standards, were examined.
All faculty members shared their ideas, suggestions, and plans regarding the studies to be conducted to ensure the sustainability of quality standards in the education of the Culinary Program. GTHMYO Management emphasized that the sectoral cooperation and application-based education structure of the Culinary Program is in line with MEDEK standards and stated that they support the process.
The GTHMYO Culinary Program continues its quality-focused efforts with determination, in line with its vision of providing qualified and skilled chef candidates to the gastronomy sector, through a dynamic educational model centered on stakeholder focus and continuous improvement.
