Our college hosted a comprehensive information event for the 1st-year students who joined us in the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The event, held on Monday, October 12, aimed to ensure that educational activities could be carried out in a free, peaceful, and safe environment.
The training program, which was supported by presentations from the Provincial Police Department's security personnel, raised awareness on critical issues that our students need to pay attention to during their campus life and social lives.
As part of the training, students were informed about;
*Terror elements, their types, traps targeting youth, and ways to protect themselves,
*The harms of substance addiction, methods of protection, and awareness of healthy living,
*Cyber crimes, safe internet usage, protection of personal data, and risks of digital fraud,
*Mechanisms for combating domestic violence and violence against women, legal rights, and support lines,
*The vital importance of precautions and measures in traffic, responsibilities of pedestrians and drivers were detailed.
After the informative brochure distributions by our security units, the event concluded. As the Food, Agriculture, and Livestock Vocational School, we thank the personnel of the Provincial Police Department for their contributions to this meaningful training that supports our students' academic development as well as their growth in a safe environment.
