Animal Husbandry Technologies and Management Students Met Innovative Feed Production Technologies at Burdur Agriculture and Food Festival

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Burdur Food, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Vocational School Animal Husbandry Technologies and Management Program first-year students, accompanied by Dr. Faculty Member Ayşegül TAŞÇIOĞLU, participated in the event organized under TÜBİTAK 4007 titled “In the Footsteps of Science: Burdur Agriculture and Food Festival”.
As part of the event, our students visited the “Daily Fresh Green Feed Production Workshop” stand conducted by our School Director Prof. Dr. Şenol GÜZEL.
During the visit, our students had the opportunity to gain information about fresh green feed production with hydroponic systems, which are one of the soil-less farming methods, Hasılmatik technology, and the possibilities of using these systems in animal husbandry enterprises.
The event, which allowed our students to examine modern feed production technologies on-site and relate their theoretical knowledge to practical applications, contributed to increasing their professional awareness regarding sustainable animal husbandry and innovative production methods.
