Visit from the Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons to Our School Directorate

Burdur Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık MYO hosted an important visit to increase knowledge sharing in the field of veterinary medicine and to provide our students with sectoral experience. Representatives of the Burdur Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons visited our unit on 18.02.2025.

During the visit, our unit was informed about the current importance of the veterinary profession, professional development opportunities, and innovations in the sector. Additionally, the representatives of the chamber of veterinary surgeons provided important advice on topics such as professional ethics, field applications, and career planning. 

Our school's director, Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized the importance of such events in raising awareness among students about the future of the veterinary profession. Following the information about our Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program, which has recently started the MEDEK accreditation application process, views were exchanged on developing projects that support our students in gaining sectoral experience by cooperating with the Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons during the accreditation process.
