“Struggle with Addiction” Conference for Our Vocational School and Faculty of Veterinary Students

On May 9, 2025, at 14:00, the conference on "Combating Addiction" organized in collaboration with our Vocational School and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was held at the conference hall of our university's faculty of veterinary medicine. The event was organized by the Coordination of Combating Addiction.
At the conference, Specialist Social Worker Ersin Eren from the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services participated as a speaker. Eren delivered a comprehensive presentation on the individual and societal impacts of addiction, the importance of early awareness, preventive strategies, and inter-institutional cooperation.
In the event, which attracted the interest of our students, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and enhance their awareness on the subject. It was emphasized that such events, organized to increase societal awareness in combating addiction, provide significant contributions to the personal development and social responsibility awareness of our university students.
