Our College Director Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel's Journey to Art: The Opening of the First Personal Exhibition Was Held

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Library hosted a meaningful event. Our School Principal Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel’s first personal exhibition, which includes Ebru, Kat-ı, and Wood Burning arts, met with art lovers on May 29, 2025, at 10:00.
The exhibition, which includes works of Ebru, Kat-ı (paper cutting art), and Wood Burning, branches of art that require elegance and patience, attracted great interest from the guests. While Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel’s original works, prepared with effort over many years, were brought together with art lovers, his interest in traditional arts and his contribution to art were met with appreciation.
The opening was attended by the university administration, academicians, students, and guests. In the speeches made during the program, it was emphasized that our high school principal, Prof. Dr. Şenol Güzel, who is known for his interest in art besides his academic identity, has made significant contributions to both the educational community and cultural life.
