Our Vocational School's Garden Agriculture Program Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ersin ATAY's project titled "The effect of ACC deaminase-producing rhizobacteria on almond tree performance under drought stress: Elucidation of physiological, biochemical, and molecular mechanisms" has been deemed worthy of support by TÜBİTAK within the scope of the 2515 - COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action Members R&D Support Program. The project will be conducted in alignment with the “CA22142- Beneficial root-associated microorganisms for sustainable agriculture (ROOT-BENEFIT)” COST action, where Prof. Dr. Ersin ATAY serves as a Management Committee Member and Sector Stakeholder Coordinator. In the project to be carried out in the Garden Plants Application and Research Plots of our Vocational School, Garden Agriculture Program Faculty Members Assoc. Dr. Selman ULUIŞIK and Assoc. Dr. A Nilgün ATAY will serve as researchers. MAKÜ Molecular Biology and Genetics Department faculty member Assoc. Dr. Ali KIYAK will also participate as a researcher in the project, which will be conducted with a total R&D team of 11 people from MAKÜ, Selçuk University, Çukurova University, and Muş Alparslan University.
