Yapılış Tarihi | 31 May 2024, Friday
Our college's Plant and Animal Production Department Plant Protection Program first-year students organized a pleasant raw meatball event in the food laboratory during lunch hours as a year-end farewell. Afterwards, they visited the Application Garden at our University, where various species are cultivated and R&D studies are conducted, as part of the Plant Growth Regulators course. During the visit, which took place under the guidance of the course instructor Dr. Lecturer Aslıhan CESUR TURGUT, our students were informed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersin ATAY, who established, developed, and led the scientific studies in the Application Garden. It was also shared that they conduct various projects with different scientists evaluating this application area to identify and cultivate species resistant to the region's climate, soil structure, and various stress types, especially drought, and that they have achieved good results.
